In many ways the novel I am writing is a tribute to everything I find cool. Firstly, I love Ancient Egypt and her gods. The novel is not set in Egypt, but in a fantasy cosmos created and inhabited by gods of the same name. Warriors all possess individually unique methods of touching the divine, unlocking latent abilities unique to the individual. There is a lot of dark gothic and surrealist themes in the novel, infecting the characters and universe that I write of. In some parts, it gets slightly trippy. A lot of Western themed fighters, especially paladins, are present.
