Do not give in to the tyrants who trumpet themselves as strong leaders.
These evil men have smothered their conscience to attempt to silence something that cannot be silenced. What can the military possibly do to holy men? The sacred offices have existed since the time of our world-system’s Buddha. The junta has ruled for a miserable few decades. Let the world condemn them and withdraw all support. Let the three old dictator-generals panic. It’s time to show them might does not equal right.
I support Burma’s brave monks.

Comes with the territory in my faith. The world hates the good.
John 15:18 If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you.
Good testament here Raymond, I’m with you on this. The whole world is watching the situation in Burma and we will not turn away from the situation. The monks have rallied the world to their cause.
All this war . . .
Over there,
Here at home,
Inside each and every one of us . . .
Time to shift the paradigm
Beyond time and space . . .
The monks in Myanmar
are currently showing us the way . . .
I am beginning to believe that the truth of awakening is taking place as we all read this blog and others. Awareness is being raised on issues that are suppressing the freedoms of people all over, not just in Burma. The monks there, as well as the protesters, are doing brave work and should ALL be commended!
please read my poem marching monks of mandalay at word press and the prematyre death of a japanese photographer in the cross fire..free burma is a universal cry.. thank you raymond.
The monks in Burma who took on the streets definietely deserve the deepest respect from all of us who don’t have to face the same situation as they do there. Who said that Theravadian monks care only about their own liberation? That’s a myth the respectable monks in Burma have shattered with their compassion for their people. They definietely have protested for the interests of the people there rather than for their own. Let’s all salute them.
